  1. Morning: Visiting to the Artists

    Mandalay, the center of the culture and arts in Myanmar have many art forms like Zat troupe, Anyeint, Puppets, Myanmar dances, Traditional music, and many festive performances.
    The best way to get a feel for how the hardy traditional artists become the most influential citizen in Myanmar under the impression of the past royal culture is to sign up for conventional culture experience in Mandalay, just to the backstage of the traditional artists.

    Among those cultural interactions, use your discretion if this is your first in Myanmar, the nearly dying art one, Myanmar string puppetry, (or) traditional human dance together with costuming traditional dancing outfits. Tour their dwelling, socialize with the local artisan and learn more about how they sustained while visitor taking the hands-on Practice. Assured that the traveler will have an extraordinary experience with this art and educative workshop. At least some culture trait/know-how is shared with the traveler. The learning experience with the local artist where there is a direct revenue exchange with the traditional artist family.
    Guaranteed that it’s a cultural interaction with local such opportunities for genuine exchange between the traditional artist and traveler.
    (Note: The honorarium for artists has to put directly into the hand of local artist Family (5000 Kyat-per/visitor) as MUL provided for a unique experience and learn about ancient traditions.)

    Enjoy your lunch/tea shop with local artisans before we transfer to jetty at the side of the famous Irrawaddy River.

  2. Afternoon: Boat excursion to Mingun village

    Then proceed Mingun,11 km upriver from Mandalay, on the opposite (western) bank by furry boat, Mingun is the best place for those who like local surrounding away from the hustle and bustle life. Explore many historical monuments including Pathodawgyi Paya (massive temple), Mingun Bell (biggest ringing bell in the world), Myathein pagoda (also call Sinphyumashin paya with a unique shape of it) and some unique pagodas and historical relics.
    In this once ancient sight, you can discover a real, local life from farmers to shoppers on the way and in the village. Enjoy a stunning river sunset on the boat on the way back to Mandalay. The tour will end after dropping at your hotel.

We suggest you to carry slipper and something to protect from the sun and the dusts. Wearing shoes/slipper and a short dress is not allowed when entering the religious area.

Your Camera is essential for taking photos with Artists for your memory to home back.

Usually, the Combo tickets for Mandalay (Zone fees/ Entrance fees) are not included in our price in case you already bought a Combo ticket before your tour. If so, we recommend you to take your Combo ticket with you at all times during your visit (or) our guide will assist you to buy this.

We operate this tour in privately as we, MUL considered to the privacy of the traveler and not sharing with other travelers. But solo traveler can still book for this tour with reasonable (solo) price by choosing 1 pax.

This tour can not be booked in the same day of departure and need to book in advance.  We recommend you to book this tour at least 48 in advance to have secure arrangements especially in high season (October to March).
