Day 1: Arrival to Mandalay 17 June 2018
Pick up by the Private car at Mandalay International Airport/Train/Bus Station and transfer to hotel for check-in. Evening at 3:00 pm, we will meet in the lobby and start evening exploration to cultural heritage site including Shwenandaw Monastery, Kuthodaw Pagoda and Mandalay hill for a spectacular sunset over the city. Then enjoy welcoming dinner with the group at the restaurant. Overnight at M3 hotel in Mandalay.
Day 2: Ava-Sagaing-Amarapura (B, -, -) 18 June 2018
This morning the tour starts with a visit to Amarapura which used to be a capital of Myanmar. The Mahagandaryone monastery is famous in Amarapura and where thousands of monks are lived. We continue crossing Ayeyarwaddy river to reach Sagaing, which is known for the numerous Buddhist monasteries, temples and impressive stupas. Then transfer to historic site of Ava (Innwa), which is the capital from the14th to the 18th century, and dotted with ruined pagodas. We will visit the old wooden Bagaya Monastery and the famous Maenu' brick monastery. Then continue towards to Amarapura, royal capital from 1783 until 1859, where highlights will include a visit to a silk weaving workshop and U Bein Bridge. Crossing the Tangthaman Lake, U Bein Bridge is the longest and oldest teakwood bridge in the world. Overnight will be at M3 hotel in Mandalay.
Special activities: Sit at a local tea shop in Sagaing for a break, and you may have some snack and tea. Learn about local who is sitting at the tea shop as their daily life.
Day 3: Mandalay – Mingun (B, -, -) 19 June 2018
We will pick up at the hotel and transfer to jetty then take a boat down to Mingun village, another bank of Irrawaddy river. Here you can view the MingunPahtodawgyi, an immense stupa which would have been the biggest in the world if it was completed. You can also see the world’s largest ringing bell and the white Hsinphymae Pagoda with beautiful architecture. After the tour to Mingun, return to Mandalay and you’ll visit gold leave making process and Mahamuni pagoda. Then you will have a chance to study Myanmar traditional cane-ball playing showing the talent of individual and team with traditional music. You will have some time to explore Mahamuni pagoda and cane-ball festival before you go back to your hotel. Overnight will be at the M3 hotel in Mandalay.
Special Activity: Today special activity is visiting to cane ball festival near the Mahamuni pagoda. Most of Chinlone teams all over Myanmar are coming to Mandalay and participate and compete in this fefsitval by individual or by team. The festival gives first, second and third przes for the best teams and individual and including other various prizes.
Day 4: Mandalay – Bagan by bus (B, -, -) 20 June 2018
Leave for Bagan by morning express bus including pick up and drop off service. You will be in Bagan in the early afternoon and check in at a hotel in Bagan. Then you will have the leisure at the hotel for your convenience. MUL's private car will pick you up (without tour guide) at about 4 pm to feel the sunset along the Irrawaddy river by the local boat and return to your hotel. Overnight at Zfreeti hotel in Bagan.
Day 5 : Bagan (B, -, -) 21 June 2018
Enjoy the amazing city of Bagan by Private car with MUL's local tour guide to get the insider perspective to appreciate this famous world heritage site and to discover thousands of ancient pagodas from the 11th century and the life of the local community. The highlights of Bagan is to visit Shwesigon pagoda where you can observe Nat (spirit) images, then a local market in Nyaung U, Ananda Temple; which has four Buddha Images in standing position and the masterpieces of the early style temple architecture of Bagan, Dhammayangyi Pagoda; the most massive shrine, Thatbyinnyu Temple, the highest white stucco building in Bagan, Mahuha Temple built by King Manuhar in Mon Style, Lacquer ware local family workshop, fermented bean paste workshop and other interesting places in Bagan. Day 6: Bagan – Kalaw by bus (B, -, -) 22 June 2018
In the morning, pick up at the hotel and leave Bagan for Kalaw by day express bus is a great opportunity for you to interact and learn from the local. Do not worry we will provide exact hotel address and contact number and your hotel is just a few minute walk from the bus stop. Kalaw is an old hill station with a laid back atmosphere, refreshing climate, and scenic views. Enjoy your free time to explore as you pleased in Kalaw on your arrangement. Overnight at Dream Villa hotel in Kalaw.
Day 7: Kalaw Trekking (B, L, -) 23 June 2018
We start trekking today from the hotel at 08:30 am, and we then walk through into the hills tribe villages, YwaThit and Tar Yaw (Palaung tribe) and plantations. We will arrive at the viewpoint, 1500m above sea level, around midday and take in the breathtaking views while enjoying our delicious lunch. Then walk back down took us through rice paddies fields and rainforest. You will have an excellent experience to spend a full day in Kalaw. Overnight at Dream Villa hotel in Kalaw. Trekking guide service is included.
Day 8: Kalaw – Inle – Kakku Pagoda (B, -, -) 24 June 2018
Early morning our car will pick up at your hotel and drive to NyaungShwe where our tour guide is waiting for you. After refreshment at the hotel continue to drive to Kakku Pagoda to explore Shan style Buddhist stupas and their tradition. You can also see traditional culture at the villages near Kakku pagoda. Evening visit to Red Mountain wine garden when you come back from Kakku and hope you will happy for a taste of Myanmar wine. Overnight at Royal Inle hotel in NyaungShwe.

Day 9: Inle – Indein (B, -, -) 25 June 2018
In the morning take a private boat trip to Indein small village first. It’s located on the western bank of the Inle Lake. You can see incredibly atmospheric despite the crowds. By climbing along the comfortable stairway, notice so many small stupas and most constructed in the 17th and 18th centuries. The highlight is to see the local life in the rural village and distinguish Shan-style small stupas. Then come back to Inle Lake and visit the main tourist destinations of the lake. Fantastic Intha people are the Lake dwellers who are unique for their leg rowing. You may visit the famous floating garden, PhaungDawOo Pagoda, silversmith workshop, weaving from lotus fibres, cheroot making. Overnight at Royal Inle hotel in NyaungShwe.
Day 10: NyaungShwe - Yangon by bus (B, -, -) 26 June 2018
Enjoy your free day to explore the back streets of NyaungShwe and Inle Lake by bike and strike out on your own of the last moment in the countryside for the exploration around the lake perimeter before you catch a night bus and head towards Yangon. Bikes will be arranged for your convenience but with no guide service. Overnight at on the express bus.
Do not forget to check out before 12:00.
Day 11:Yangon arrival (B, -, -) 27 June 2018
At your early arrival in Yangon, MUL private car will pick you up at the bus station and bring you to the local tea shop where you can relax and take local breakfast before you go to the hotel for refreshment. Our tour guide will meet you at the hotel and will arrange to leave the luggage at the reception and visit all the famous historical, cultural site of Yangon. Overnight at hotel in Yangon.
Day 12 :Departure day (B, -, -) 28 June 2018
The tour ends in Yangon at this morning. Today is your last day in Yangon and preparation to continue your onward journey. Airport transfer is arranged.
