Day 1: (Dec 25), Mandalay (L, D)
Pickup service: Pickup service is included whether you come by flight or by bus, but Hotel check-in time is after 2:00 pm. During the pickup time, we will stop at Mahamuni pagoda for a visit and it is depended on your arrival time.
Our main activities start in the evening at 3:00 pm, our tour guide will meet you all in the lobby and start evening exploration to cultural heritage site including Shwenandaw Monastery, Kuthodaw Pagoda and Mandalay hill for a spectacular sunset over the city. Then enjoy welcoming dinner with the group at the restaurant. Overnight will be at the hotel in Mandalay.
Special activity: riding trishaw at the foot of Mandalay.(The cycle trishaw is a small-scale local means of transport; it is also known as “side-car” in Myanmar. A light three-wheeled vehicle with pedals, used in Myanmar and East Asia.)
Day 2: (Dec 26), Ava-Sagaing-Amarapura-Mingun (B, L, D)
A full-day tour of the three ancient royal capitals surrounding Mandalay: Sagaing, Ava, and Amarapura and Mingun village. Drive first to Mingun village, and it is a rural area and where you can view the MingunPahtodawgyi, the world’s largest ringing bell and the white Hsinphymae Pagoda with beautiful architecture. Continue drive back to Sagaing, where you can see uncountable white-and-gold Stupas glitter on waves of green Sagaing hill and the whole scene is enthralling. Ava is the capital from the14th to the 18th century where we will visit the old wooden Bagaya Monastery and the famous Maenu' brick monastery. Then continue towards to Amarapura, royal capital from 1783 until 1859, where highlights will include a visit to a silk weaving factory and U Bein Bridge. Crossing the Tangthaman Lake, U Bein Bridge is the longest and oldest teakwood bridge in the world. Overnight will be at the hotel in Mandalay.
Special activities: Sit at local teashop in Sagaing for a break and you may have some Myanmar foods and tea. Learn about local who are sitting at the tea shop as their daily life.
Day 3: (Dec 27), Mandalay - PyinOoLwin – Mandalay (B, L, D)
Today you will visit to PyinOoLwin known as Flower Land, pleasant hill town located in the Shan Highlands about 70km east of Mandalay. PyinOoLwin is renowned for its flowers and vegetable industries, aided by a cold climate that made it popular among the British during colonial rule. Explore Myoma market and some colonial style houses still stand around the Botanical (National Kandawgyi) Garden which spans a total of 240 acres and features a butterfly museum, bamboo garden, pine forest, aviary, orchid garden and fossils museum. Visit famous Myoma market and PweKauk waterfall, a popular picnic spot and seeing Burmese families picnicking and enjoying themselves. Overnight will be at the hotel in Mandalay.
Special Event: Flower Festival will be held at National Kandawgyi Park, PyinOoLwin and it will take place from 15 to 31 December if there are nothing changes by Government. The festival will display exotic flower species, artificial flowers and local flower species in the festival area. There will be thousands number of domestic and foreign visitors to the flower festival at the gardens. You will enjoy the magnificent scenery, friendly people and amazing experience.
Special Activity: riding Traditional horse-cart which is unique style of Maymyo.
Day 4: (Dec 28), Mandalay – Bagan by boat (B, L, D)
Today you will have cruise trip from Mandalay to Bagan. Start your cruise trip to Bagan, and you can see the local life, some rural villages and beautiful scenery along the bank of Ayeyarwaddy river. Today you will spend most of your time on the boat and lunch is included on the boat. You will be picked-up at the jetty in Bagan and transfer to your hotel. Then after you have checked-in at your hotel, proceed to Ananda Pagoda festival and have your enjoyable dinner near the festival. Overnight is at the hotel in Bagan.
Special Event: Ananda Pagoda festival is the biggest and most famous pagoda festival in Central and Upper Myanmar. Villagers come in caravans of covered ox-carts and camp out for the duration of this exciting country fair. The Busiest day of the festival is the full moon day of the Myanmar month of Pyatho, which falls mostly on January, marks the height of the celebrations, with one thousand monks from a hundred villages in the vicinity arriving to accept offerings of filled alms bowls.
Day 5: (Dec 29), Bagan (B, L, D)
Bagan, thousands of temples on the plains of ancient capital and it is one of Asia’s most stunning archaeological sites. Explore the most beautiful and historically significant temples with your tour guide who will give you detailed insights and take you to the lesser-known areas by e-bike. Visit a traditional lacquer ware factory and have the chance to buy unique, finely-crafted, locally produced products. Overnight will be at the hotel in Bagan.
Day 6: (Dec 30), Bagan - Heho- Sagar village by flight (B, L, D)
This morning, fly to Heho by flight and then proceed to set off your journey for Sagar- located in a Southern region of Inle Lake. This quaint town is still unfamiliar to many tourists, but it is now one of the beautiful places in Shan State which feature charming and rustic beauty of landscapes and the locals. Your boat takes about 3 hours, but you are awarded fabulous views of various species of birds. Upon arrival in Sagar, start your excursion with a variety of stops. One of the highlights of the region you should not miss is the “sunken” stupas of Sagar submerged by the lake a few months a year. You could also visit a local monetary and villages before continuing onto the village of Thaya Gone. Visiting the village, you have a chance to take a closer look at unique making process of rice wine. The next stop in your journey will be SaeKhaung Pottery Village where you will be enchanted by various pots with different sizes and shapes. Make a photo stop at Tar Kaung to admire a wide range of stupas. Along the way, the launch will be arranged at restaurant. In the afternoon, turn back to Inle Lake. Along the way, you have a chance to observe a busy life of the locals on the lake and admire stunning sunset when a day comes to a close. Overnight will be at the hotel in NyaungShwe.
Special activity: Evening we will visit to Red Mountain vineyards & winery for a glass of Myanmar wine for tasting.
Day 7: (Dec 31), Inle Lake-Indein (B, L, D)
Start today by heading out in a motorised boat. You’ll see local life on the lake, including the fisherman who uses a unique leg-rowing technique on their boats, floating tomato plantations and cottage industries such as silversmiths, weavers and cigar makers. Here you can buy traditional cotton and lotus fibre wares produced by the locals. Visit PhaungDawOoPaya, the most religious site in the region and take a quick look inside at the various images of Buddha. You can also see a golden barge which is used during PhaungDawOo festival. We will also visit Indein on the western banks of the lake; this intricate pagoda complex has hundreds of Shan style stupas clustered together on the hillside. I am sure it will be a good place for fantastic photographic opportunity for you. Overnight will be at hotel NyaungShwe.
Day 8: (Jan 1), Inle Lake – Pindaya - Yangon by evening flight (B, L, D)
Early morning drive to famous Pindaya Cave getting through farms, local villages and see the local people going to their daily works. Pindaya, there has a huge cavern where nearly 8,000 Buddha statues appearing and Shan parasol workplace where you can also see how paper is made in a traditional way to a local use of the small umbrella. Then drive back to Heho for flight to Yangon. Overnight at hotel in Yangon.
Day 9: (Jan 2) Yangon – Ngapali by flight (B)
At the morning fly to Ngapali and check in at a hotel in Ngapali. During your days in Ngapali, there are no activities, and you may have rest time as you please. Only accommodation will be arranged. Overnight will be at the hotel in Ngapali.
Day 10-12, (Jan 3-5) Ngapli (leisure time) (B)
Leisure time and we will arrange accommodation only with no other services.
Suggested activities in Ngapali Beach ???
· To explore the surrounding villages, you can hire a bicycle and Biking is the best way to enjoy the serene atmosphere at the beach.
· To explore one of the islands located along the coast by boat or discover the world under the beach by diving and snorkeling.
· Enjoy your last day with sun and sea of Ngapali by swing in a hammock under a tree in the fresh air of the beach.
Day 13: Jan 6, Ngapali -Yangon by flight (B, L, D)
Fly to Yangon and visit the highlight of Yangon city. You can explore the city centre where colonial buildings are located. Worth seeing including the Chaukthatgyi pagoda with the 65 m long reclining Buddha image, Karaweik Hall; the royal replica, Shwedagon temple complex; the largest temple in Myanmar is covered with a thick layer of gold leaf and brilliant gemstones.
Our tour guide will lead you the whole day. Overnight is at the hotel in Yangon.
Day 14: (Jan 7), International Departure (B)
In the morning you will need to prepare for your international departure and you will be transferred to Yangon International airport for a flight home.

Before you initiate your payment procedure, please understand first our terms & conditions. In a booking process, the first person who makes the reservation is responsible for all persons in the same group, and we consider as all the members in the same group were delivered and agreed our terms & conditions.
Group Deposit: If the booking makes 45 days before the date of travel, MUL will charge 10% (Deposit) of the tour cost at the time of booking for the Small Group (Sharing) Tours.
No Refund for Unused Services: After your booking has confirmed, there is no refund for joining the trip after departure (or) for leaving the journey before its completion (or) for unused services.
Departure: MUL small group tours are guaranteed for departure at the time of receiving the booking at the minimum number of pax. If the minimum is not reached until 45 days before travel date, MUL reserves the right to nominate a small group Surcharge to ensure departure grantee. Or you may cancel the trip for a full refund (service fees for AnyRoad platform is non-refundable). You will not be entitled to claim any additional amounts or seek any compensation.
Myanmar Upper Land | culture & travel (MUL) reserves the right to cancel trips at any time before departure if, due to terrorism, natural disasters, political instability. In this circumstance, you will receive the full refund (service fees for using AnyRoad platform are non-refundable).
• Maximum 1 child of the infant to 5 years old at the time of travel date will be accepted for travel with complimentary. But the child 2-5 years old has to pay for the related airfare, bus, train and boat tickets of the tours program at the time of booking by using “Additional options” of MUL’s Booking page. If it exceeds 1 child (0-5 Years), you will need to book as the child with the age of 5-10 years.
• Children between 5-10 years old at the time of the travel date will be applied for child rate, and maximum 2 pax is allowed. If it exceeds, you will need to book as the adult.
• Children more than 10 years old will be charged the same as the adult.

Accommodation: MUL’s small group (sharing) tours are based on twin or double room. The baby cot cannot be guaranteed and subject to availability of the hotel.
We arrange the number of twin rooms plus extra bed for the group size of, 3,5,7,9,11,13 pax (including children age of 5-10 years old) in the same booking. Your openness for those odd number groups, you can alternatively request for the single room by using “Additional options” of MUL’s Booking page.
Subject to the availability of the hotels, Single Room request can be allowed so far until 30 days before the travel date via email directly to firstname.lastname@example.org
If you need an extra bed for Children under 5 years old, you need to book at the time of booking under the “Additional Options”.
For all above conditions, only 1 extra bed is allowed per room.
As we, MUL considered to the privacy of the Solo travellers in this small group (sharing) tours, we accommodate them in a single room based and the price already included the single supplement cost.
