Irrawaddy River Cruise (Day Return)
Mandalay – Mingun – Innwa (Ava) –Amarapura – Mandalay (One Day Tour)
Cruise to Mingun (one hour) located across majestic Irrawaddy River about 12 kilometers north of Mandalay for archeological and social visit.
Activity Option:
Pahtotawgyi; (the biggest brick pile or unfinished Pagoda)
- Mingun bell ; (the second Largest and un-cracked bell in the world)
- Mya Thein Tan Pagoda; (outstanding shaped)
- Home for the Aged
Then return by boat to Innwa (formerly known as Ava), through Sagaing.
Meal: -Lunch is served on Boat with traditional Myanmar Cuisine while having the beauty and nature of Irrawaddy.
Arrive at Innwa, ancient capital of central Myanmar and situated on the left bank of Irrawaddy River at the Myit-nge confluence with the historical aspect by local horse cart (or) by car
Activity Option:
- Maha Aungmyae Bozan ;
(well-known as Me Nu Oak Kyaung, a Buddhist monastery is relatively well preserved and built by the King Bodawpaya’s principal wife in 1818)
- Bagaya;
(teak monastery built in 1834, with 267 teak post)
- Nanmyint Watch Tower;
( 27 meter masonry tower, all that is left of the Ava palace.)
-Sinkyone Fort;
(built in the Third Anglo Burmese War, overlooking the Irrawaddy)
- Workshop of black bowl for the monk as commercial visit.
Then by proceed to Amarapura and the visit would include to the famous U Bein teak bridge. After the sunset transfer to Hotel for the refreshment.
Traditional Myanmar Cuisine at local restaurant and Mandalay Marionettes Theater (or) Minthar Theater for Myanmar traditional performance.
Optional Restaurant and Performance: Dinner at “Kinsana Garden” of Mandalay Hill Resort Hotel with the traditional performance of Dance from Dynasties. Meal: Serve European buffet
